The Badger Invitational Sale highlights a historically rich 40-year-old tradition as one of the most prestigious collegiate sales in the country. It is run solely by members of the Badger Dairy Club who create different committees to ensure the sale runs smoothly.

Chair Descriptions
GENERAL CHAIR (1)
The general chair oversees all other chairs and aspects of the sale. They also act as the public relations communicator for the event.
ADVERTISING CHAIR (1)
The advertising chair is responsible for ordering sale wear and advertisement of the event in newspapers, publications, magazines, and more. They will work closely with the sale manager as well.
CATTLE CARE/PREPARATION CHAIRS (2)
The cattle care and preparation chairs are responsible for getting the necessary supplies to house and tie all animals, as well as the set-up of the auction ring at the sale location. They are responsible for all feed and equipment needed to clean and feed the animals while on the grounds, and must coordinate nightlines, fitting, and washing schedules.
CATALOG CHAIR (1)
The catalog chair will design the layout for the catalog, organize the cattle information, and work closely with the printer of the catalog. They also must organize the semen sale and receive the semen donations.
SELECTIONS CHAIRS (4)
The selection chairs are responsible for selecting the animals for the sale from all farms and will be responsible for contracting the animals selected, as well as transmitting all of the consignment information to the catalog chairman.
SPECIAL EVENTS CHAIR (1)
The special events chair is responsible for organizing all pre- and post- entertainment and activities.
DECORATIONS & CONCESSIONS CHAIR (1)
The decorations/concessions chair is responsible for organizing the concessions stand during the sale, and must decorate the sale area.
